Rosenbaum Engineering provided structural engineering for the renovation of the Robert’s Building in downtown Valdosta. The project included evaluation of the original multi-wythe brick walls, and heavy timber beams and columns. New foundations were installed to replace deteriorating supports below remaining interior columns. New connections were made between the walls and floor and roof diaphragms restoring the buildings stability compromised by previous renovations.
